Why Training Room Rental?

Rental venues provide organisers with short-term lease on a variety of conducive, attractive spaces for all kinds of purposes.

Some of us do not have the luxury of huge office spaces, or would prefer an external venue to host outreach activities. From training workshops to large-scale seminars, having the right space is crucial. With the right venue, it’s easier to get everyone in the zone right off the bat.

That is why we’re proud to have partnered up with Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) to provide a host of rental venues, ranging from cosy classrooms to large event halls. Finding the perfect venue doesn’t have to be a hassle! Take your pick from the spectrum of thoughtfully designed and well-furnished spaces.

Easily Accessible via the MRT

You don’t want an inaccessible venue to be a barrier to your attendees. Make it easier for everyone with LLI’s convenient location, 2 minutes away from Paya Lebar MRT. Additionally, the learning campus is also served by a number of buses, and houses ample parking spaces within and around the vicinity.

Flexible Booking Terms

Reserve your rooms from 4 hours at a time, to full day blocks. Need a little more time? Use their 1-hour extensions to customise the booking to your desired duration! There is also the possibility of mixing and matching room bookings, so you can facilitate breakout discussions or host multiple events at the same time.

With over 20 venue spaces to choose from, you’ll be hard-pressed to say that there isn’t one suitable for your needs! Small classrooms are ideal for workshops or discussions, and board rooms are perfect for important meetings and brainstorming sessions. The Seminar Halls can host ceremonies or conferences comfortably. You also have the option of configuring the seating arrangements!

Enjoy Fully-equipped Room Facilities

Save yourself the trouble of bringing your own AV equipment or setting up complicated devices! All rentals include AV setup of essential equipment like mics, projector screens, and audio speakers. Whether you need a flipboard for live demos, or camera setups for live streaming, it’s possible upon request.

Where are the training venues located?

The training venues are all located within the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) campus in Singapore:

11 Eunos Road 8, Singapore 408601

You may reach the campus conveniently via bus, MRT, or car.

 

By bus:

Paya Lebar Road (Near Paya Lebar MRT): 24, 28, 43, 70, 70M, 76, 135, 154, 155

Sims Avenue (Tanjong Katong Complex): 2, 7, 13, 21, 24, 26, 28, 30, 51, 67, 154, 155

 

By MRT:

Get to Paya Lebar MRT via the East-West (Green) line or Circle (Orange) line. LLI is a short 2-minute walk from Exit A or B of the MRT.

 

By car:

LLI is reachable via PIE, Sims Avenue, or Guillemard Road. Once on Paya Lebar Road heading towards Eunos Ave 5, turn left after the Cisco Building, then turn right into the LLI carpark.

What is the capacity of each training room?

LLI houses over 20 rental spaces with a variety of sizes and capacities. The smallest rooms are about 45 sqm and can house 10-30 people depending on the room configuration. The largest spaces are the Lecture Theatre (sits 267 pax in fixed seating), and Event Halls (sits up to 180 pax, flexible configuration available).

 

Some rooms may also be combined to increase the capacity of the venue, such as the Event Halls and adjacent Training Rooms.

What activities are permitted in these venues?

The LLI campus and facilities are catered for training and development purposes. You may conduct your training courses, workshops, seminars, and conferences there, as long as they are geared towards upskilling, lifelong learning, and developing workforce-related skills.

What facilities do the venues come with?

All venues (with the exception of the Event Plaza, which is an open space venue), are air-conditioned. Depending on the venue, essential AV equipment available may include the sound system, projector and screen, microphones, live cameras, stage lighting. Upon request, whiteboard markers, flip charts, and cocktail tables are also available. Request of additional equipment may incur extra costs and is subject to availability.

All rooms come with AV setup beforehand. But should you require dedicated AV support throughout the event, additional costs apply.

How are the rental rates charged?

Room rates vary across room types and capacities. For a full list of prices, please refer to LLI’s price list.

All venues can be rented for durations of either 4 hours, 9 hours (8am-5pm), or the full day (8am-10pm). 1-hour extensions are allowed before and/or after the main booking slot, limited to LLI’s operating hours (8am-10pm).

These booking slots can be mixed and matched to your preferred duration. For example, if you wish to book for an event running at 9am-6pm, you can book 2 x 4-hour blocks + 1-hour extension.
