Celebrating Chinese New Year 兔gather with #TeamImpossible

It has been three long years since #TeamImpossible last got together to celebrate Chinese New Year! And what better way to usher in the year of the rabbit than gathering every member of our digital marketing agency 兔(to)gether?

Long gone are the days when we gathered virtually. This year, to celebrate the auspicious festival, the entire #TeamImpossible gathered together to mingle and get to know one another, all while decking in their best red attire. Our little boss baby even made his rare appearance in the office, swooning over some of our female staff with his cuteness and charm. For some of us, it was the first time doing the lou hei. And it was indeed a momentous occasion for all of us as we each grabbed a pair of chopsticks and screamed at the top of our voices auspicious greetings to one another. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where making a mess was not a bad thing.

This year, our bosses surprised us with an extensive spread of a feast. We had a DIY laksa station, DIY popiah station, and DIY muah chee station accompanied by snacks, such as pizzas and 4 Fingers. There was lots of laughter as well as a genuine surprise as individuals created their very own popiah. Some were made professionally, while others ended up looking like an entirely new cuisine. But all in all, it was indeed a fun time to be able to have lunch together as a company in our office.

How can you say you celebrated Chinese New Year if you did not play ban luck? Some of us gathered behind at our pantry after lunch to play a round of ban luck, also known as blackjack, testing to see whose “luck” was going to be the best this year. Do not worry. No wallet was harmed in the process. It was just an excellent time to be able to take a short break from work to talk to fellow colleagues and relax.

The last three years have definitely been an arduous season for everyone, as everybody continued to work hard, if not even harder, from their home while having to stay connected virtually. With the opportunity to do lo hei this Chinese New Year, it was a great opportunity to usher in a new season for Impossible Marketing, one that is full of abundance, fortune, happiness, and luck.

Our first team celebration in a long while, and of 2023. Definitely not the last, with more to come this year! As we move forward together as a team, expanding the reach of Impossible Marketing and providing nothing but only the best SEM, SMA, and SEO services, we just want to wish all our clients and customers a happy year of the rabbit!
