Sleigh What We Did Last Christmas 2024 with Team Impossible!

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart… but not Team Impossible!

Last Christmas, Team Impossible wrapped up an incredible 2024 with a much-anticipated team bonding session. On December 13th, we all gathered for a day brimming with laughter and exciting challenges that brought us closer than ever. It was the perfect way for our digital marketing agency to celebrate our successes and hard work throughout the year.

Held at Harbourfront Centre, none of us had a clue about what to expect. The air was buzzing with curiosity as we met at Toast Box on Level 2. From the moment we kicked off at 12 p.m., we were in for a rollercoaster of fun. Divided into three teams, the energy levels soared as we competed in thrilling games, solved puzzles, and even got a bit sweaty (despite the air-conditioning). Here’s a recap of the day’s memorable events and highlights.

The teams that made it happen

Before diving into the action, let’s introduce the stars of the day:

Floor is lava - Team A
Team A: Gladys, Lynn, Kavitha, Heer, Leon, and Mikaela
Floor is lava - Team B
Team B: Peixian, Yu Xiang, Adeline, Rachel, Nadiah, and Syakirah
Floor is lava - Team C
Team C: Jue Xi, Nicholas, Joanne, Suffira, and Nia

Thrilling games and endless laughter

Kicking things off, we tackled The Floor Is Lava, where agility and teamwork were key. Despite the cool venue, this game got everyone sweating!

  • Team A conquered an impressive 22 levels, scoring a whopping 1620 points.
  • Team B managed 11 levels with 978 points.
  • Team C completed 10 levels, earning 838 points.

The room echoed with cheers and laughter as teammates encouraged each other to stay “off the lava.”

themed escape room challenge

Next up, we tested our wits in a themed escape room challenge. The adventure began outside a cabin setting, and we had to figure out how to enter and ultimately escape. This puzzle-packed activity had our brains working overtime.

Team B took home the win as the only group to escape successfully! The rest of us gave it our best shot, but by the end, we were mentally exhausted yet exhilarated.

Alan and Serene, our amazing Game Masters, kept the excitement going with a series of creative games:

1. A guessing game where teammates listed items, like “things you see at a coffee shop,” while one teammate guessed the answers.

2. Non-Chinese teammates hilariously hummed Chinese songs for others to guess. This one either had us rolling with laughter or stressed with anticipation – it was much harder than it sounded!

3. A TikTok-inspired challenge where we deciphered cryptic images and phrases.

Each challenge brought waves of laughter, some friendly competition, and countless unforgettable moments.

Scavenger hunt around Harbourfront Centre

In between these games, we embarked on a scavenger hunt around Harbourfront Centre. With 15 tricky questions to answer, we scoured the mall high and low. Forget Google – this hunt demanded real detective skills!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Alan and Serene

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Alan and Serene for their impeccable planning and for treating us to a day we’ll never forget.

Reflecting on a wonderful year

What a year it’s been! From donating five more MacBook Air laptops to the Bridge the Digital Divide initiative to joining The Food Bank Singapore in their inaugural 12-Hour Food Drive, Team Impossible has truly embodied the spirit of giving back. We also pushed our limits with a revitalising yoga session at Yoga Nation and soaked in the rhythms at Extra•Ordinary’s Harmonic Beats 2024.

As we look ahead, we’re grateful for all that 2024 brought us and excited to see what 2025 has in store. Here’s to another year of growth, teamwork, and making a difference as we continue our journey into 2025.

Happy New Year, Team Impossible!
